Bio
Mr. Mohamed MALIKI is Ambassador of His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco to the Republic of India (and to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Republic of Maldives and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, with residence in New Delhi) since October 2016.
From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Maliki was the Head (Director) of Asia and Oceania Affairs Directorate (AOAD), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco (MAEC); acting Director (Head) of the AOAD from 2008 to 2009 and Head of Political Affairs Division of the AOAD in 2008.
Mr. Maliki joined the Foreign Affairs in 1989 and served overseas as Deputy Ambassador at the Moroccan Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, from to 2003 to 2007 and Deputy Ambassador at the Moroccan Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from 1994 to 2000.
Mr. Maliki obtained a Diploma on “Diplomatic Studies” from the “Pakistan Foreign
Service Academy”, Islamabad in 1992, an advanced Studies Diploma (DEA, Morocco) in 1990 and a B.A. in English Literature (Morocco) in 1987.
Mr. Maliki is married, with two children.
